Kali ini Mbak @jecii yang berdasarkan twitter bio-nya adalah seorang MD (Music Director) of RCM Radionet, berbaik hati menyumbangkan double album Pearl Jam yang berjudul rearviewmirror.
Tidak berhenti sampai situ, Mbak Jecii juga berbaik hati memberikan penjelasan dan cerita singkat mengenai album yang resmi jadi salah satu hadiah kegiatan #temukoncoisout ini.
Begini cerita Mbak Jecii:
Album Rearviewmirror (2004) adalah album yang membuat penggemar Pearl Jam bersukacita, karena direlease setelah lebih dari sepuluh tahun, Eddie Vedder dan kawan-kawan tidak membuat materi baru.
Album ini tercatat mencapai penjualan 96.000 kopi di minggu pertama setelah direlease, Rearviewmirror penuh dengan kumpulan lagu-lagu hits milik Pearl Jam dekade 1991 sampai 2003.
Meskipun tidak ada lagu baru di sini,tapi ini adalah sebuah antologi penting yang mencatat sebelas tahun setelah band ini maraup sukses lewat album mayor pertama mereka,Ten.
Lebih menyenangkan lagi,di album koleksi lagu-lagu mereka dibagi menjadi dua disk dengan urutan koleksi yang menarik.
Bisa dibilang,pengaturan lagu dalam kedua disk ini bisa di istilahkan seperti ini,disk pertama adalah ‘the angry anthems’ sementara disk kedua ‘the introspective songs’.
Koleksi ini menyajikan evolusi yang membuat musik grunge berkembang di awal tahun sembilan puluhan. Dan sebelumnya,belum ada yang melakukan eksperimental ini selain Pearl Jam.
